Publimail Billing Services offers you the possibility of digitising and archival of your documents, weither they are created by the automated document factory or by your services. We can scan from a3 to a4 and smaller. All metadata are indexed (see also PDF/A) and made easy to consult via a simple user friendly interface. What can we archive ?

Pdf-a Based Workflow

This standard defines a format (PDF/A) for the long-term archiving of electronic documents and is based on the PDF Reference Version 1.4 from Adobe Systems Inc. (implemented in Adobe Acrobat 5). PDF/A is in fact a subset of PDF, leaving out PDF features not suited to long-term archiving. The basis of our automated document factory is a pdf-a based workflow.


Quality Insurance

  • Publimail will execute visual controls of the printed copies of the documents. These controls are integrated in the global quality insurance-procedures of Publimail.
  • All printed jobs are accompanied by a "end of job sheet", which mentions the following data : jobnr, jobname, operator, it responsible, qty sheets
  • In case of quality problems due to technical printer's failures, Publimail has a backup printer to give the same service.
  • clear Service Level Agreements (SLA)
  • We have our own transport to the Belgian Post or other postal operators
  • We only use qualified personnel, no interim people are used
  • All personnel has signed a "contract of good conduct"
  • All printing and handling is done in a secured environment where only qualified personnel is granted access
  • All handled envelopes are scanned. Logfiles control if everything is handled
  • For archiving projects, Publimail respects the ISO recommendations for archiving in PDF/A standard
  • Sox-compliance for network organisation and archival databases
